WordPress Downloads Cross the 3 Million Mark
At exactly 9:25 PM PST today, the download counter at WordPress touched the 3 million mark. That means WordPress 2.6 self-hosted software has been downloaded more than 3 million times from wordpress.org. Congrats Matt and WordPress team.

I was lucky enough to watch this live when the ticker moved from 2,999,992 to that magical 3,000,002 mark.
